How poetry and philosophy are fact?
Tuesday, January 19th, 2010If the human emotion could be exactly formatted into language, as poetry and literal intentions strive, would that constitute the emotion as a fact?
As the emotion in and of itself resides within the body, there is no quantifiable method for tracing the depth or effect of the emotion, or of the essence of the emotion itself. But poetry, as I am aware of it, seems to be the most accurate method of literating emotion. So now if emotion can be transformed into a physical, lasting format, i.e. written word, then it should be able to be quantified.
Is this finally a link between the humanities and science?
