I’m just wondering what groups all of you use. I’ve heard of so many different groups but I can’t decide on which one I want to use.

I’m more looking for an active site with many different writers, one that gives long serious critiques and I can give critiques in return. Free of course, and a nice, simple, layout.

Any suggestions?

I’m going to counseling and I want my counselor to know read some of the poetry I have written, so that he can get a better idea of who/how I really am. But I’m not sure as to how to bring it up. Because I don’t want to be like “Oh here is some poetry I have written…read it” That sounds so stupid…and the first poem in the notebook is from 1999 and it’s about something that I haven’t told him about because i have put it behind me and it doesn’t bother me anymore, I know how to explain that…so can someone please help me figure out a way to bring it up so I won’t sound stupid.

I need to know what companies actually buy poetry. I’ve been told to buy this book called “poets market” or something like that. Well, to be onest with you I don’t feel like spending around $25 for a book when I don’t even know how much I’ll make of my poems. So, if you can help me I will really apriciate it.
