I have never really read that much poetry, though I read a lot of books and I seem to be more fond of ones that are filled with so much romance, it seems almost poetic, so I want to give poetry a try. However, I am having trouble distinguishing between a subject and a theme? And btw, the subject isn’t the characters.

Please, don’t say “Do your own homework”
I need help as soon as possible telling me what the difference is b/t a subject and a theme.

I write with passion.

I really would like to get my poetry out there and in the faces of people to read.

I have entered various poetry contest and had my poem published in their books, yet there are about 700 poems in those books.

Is there a way I can get just a book of my poetry out for people to read?

And if so, how would I go about making sure my poems are my copyright?

If you can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

I’ve often heard about publishing scams where a so called publisher will ask you 2 send $ along w/ what ever it is you’re wanting 2 have published so please don’t refer me 2 one that will cost me any $ 2 get started!
